Biography
Paul Patterson is a lifetime native of Alabama. He grew up in Tuscaloosa, where he attended Central High School and the University of Alabama for both his undergraduate degree and law degree. Paul has an extensive background in civil trial advocacy. While at the University of Alabama Law School, he was awarded the prestigious Stancil R. Starnes Scholarship and the George P. Taylor Top Trial Advocacy Awards, which are awarded to the top trial advocacy student at UA Law School. The American Judicature Society named him the top law student in trial advocacy. He was also awarded the CALI in future interests. Paul was selected as the lead advocate for the University of Alabama Trial Advocacy Team, which competed and won the Southeastern Regional Championship in New Orleans.
Mr. Patterson is very active in the Tuscaloosa community where he has served on numerous non-profit boards. He serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Alabama. In 2010, he was named a lifetime member of the University of Alabama College of Education Board of Advisors. He and his wife Katie, have three children and are active members of Circlewood Baptist Church.
